drione or ecoexempt more effective?

Greetings. We have been blessed with wasps gaining access to the loft of our log house so my plan is to use a dust such as Drione or EcoExempt on the soffits, eaves, and under the ribs of the steel roof. Which is likely to be more effective, the Drione or the EcoExempt? Thanks for your help and any suggestions.

Drione will definitely last longer than the Exempt Dust. This is largely because the Drione works as a desiccant and does not rely on an active ingredient alone. The EcoExempt does use a food extract as the active which will remain for 2-4 weeks but nearly as long as the Drione. In a dry environment, the Drione will be active for 6 months or more; since some of these areas will be subject to humidity and other variables related to the weather, I would say you'll get 2-4 months of protection per treatment.

One option you have is consider using the DE Dust. This is similar to the Drione in that it uses a mechanical method of killing and repelling the wasps. It will probably last just as long as the Drione and is applied exactly the same way. It's also quite reasonable cost wise so if you wish to go with something organic, go with the DE Dust over the Eco Exempt.
