wasps in pine bark
We have many many wasps, I think, swarming around our front door in the pine bark. I can’t see where they are coming from. They disappear at sundown. How do I know what they are? And what can I try to get rid of them?
There are so many wasps active here in the states I can’t list them all in this post. Several of these will nest in the ground. Based on where you’re seeing the activity, it’s most likely one of these species.
To both kill and repel all activity, go with the CYPERMETHRIN featured in our WASP CONTROL ARTICLE. It will take care of any nests being formed. It will also repel new ones from coming around which no doubt would get worse as the spring turns to summer.
For more information, read our DIGGER WASP ARTICLE. It lists slightly different sprays to use either of the concentrates will do the job.
